What data we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us — whether through our contact form, by email, by phone, on social or professional networks, or at events — we record your details and the substance of your enquiry in our customer relationship management (CRM) system so we can manage and follow up on it. This may include your name, company, role or title, company size, where you are in your AI journey, your contact details, and anything else you choose to share. We only receive what you choose to send.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our hosting and security provider records limited technical data such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, and the pages you view. We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool to understand site usage in aggregate. If something goes wrong, an error-reporting tool may capture technical diagnostic details to help us fix it. We self-host our fonts, so the site makes no third-party font requests.

How and why we use it

We use personal data only for clear purposes, each with a lawful basis under UK and EU data protection law:

  • To respond to your enquiry and explore working together — including recording your details in our CRM to manage and follow up on the enquiry. This relies on our legitimate interests, and on taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To keep the site secure, reliable, and working — our legitimate interest in protecting and improving our service.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations — compliance with the law.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we will not send you marketing without your consent.

Cookies & analytics

We do not set cookies on this website, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.

Our analytics are cookieless and collect aggregate, non-identifying usage information only. Because we set no cookies and do no tracking, there is no cookie consent banner to click through.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under appropriate data-processing terms:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, security, and cookieless analytics.
  • Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform — cloud hosting and infrastructure.
  • Sentry — application error reporting and monitoring.
  • HubSpot — customer relationship management; we store and manage enquiries here.
  • Proton — email; contact-form messages reach us through our Proton mailbox.

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States and Switzerland. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK and EU adequacy decisions, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep contact enquiries for up to 12 months after our last meaningful contact with you, unless an ongoing relationship or a legal obligation requires us to keep them longer. Technical and analytics data is retained for limited periods in line with our providers’ policies. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, emailprivacy@zekoda.com.

If you are in the UK and have a concern we have not resolved, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) atico.org.uk.

California residents

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make a request, emailprivacy@zekoda.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, and we work with reputable providers who maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to make them clear.
